Announces International Partnership with ASTD
The Learning
Sanctuary, a provider of certification programmes and master
classes for Learning and Development professionals is pleased to
announce that it has signed a formal international partnership with
the American Society for Training & Development (ASTD), the
world’s largest professional association dedicated to the training
and development field. ASTD’s International Partner programme
provides an opportunity for learning professionals and
organisations outside the United States to have a local presence
and bring together ASTD members and practitioners for professional
development, networking, and information exchange.
Through this
partnership, The Learning Sanctuary will initially deliver four
ASTD certificate programmes in 2009/2010 focused on these topics:
Coaching, Consulting Skills for Learning Professionals, Managing
the Learning Function, and Measuring and Evaluating Learning.The
Learning Sanctuary looks forward to developing future programmes
with ASTD in 2010/2011
With more
than 30 certificate programmes, ASTD’s educational offerings set
the industry standard for high quality learning and development.
Since 1998, more than 27,000 professionals have attended ASTD
certificate programs that provide hands-on, practical tools and
methods that can be applied on the job immediately. In 2008, ASTD
certificate programs were delivered in China, Egypt, Honduras,
India, Saudi Arabia, and Singapore.
