Sandra McCall FITOL

Sandra is a highly successful learning and development consultant and business woman, who has run multi-million pound learning and development budgets, managed large, complex teams, is an executive coach, and has run her own learning business.

Her career track has provided her with a strong breadth of experience in executive learning and development, senior management, HR consultancy, banking, and directorship of her own Limited Company.

With over fifteen years experience in the development of groups and individuals, she has worked in, and with, blue chip organisations in the financial and professional services sectors, including Lloyds TSB, Abbey National plc, Santander, Royal Bank of Scotland, McCall Consulting Limited and CHPD.

She started her career in banking where she moved into sales and sales management, before progressing successfully into the learning and development arena. Previous posts held include Bank Manager for Lloyds TSB, Head of Group Training and Development for Abbey National plc, Head of Management Development & Education for Santander, Managing Director of McCall Consulting Limited and Associate Executive Coach with CHPD.

Sandra is a Fellow of the Institute of Training and Occupational Learning and has a Post Graduate Diploma in Management Studies and a Certificate in Personal Performance Coaching from The Coaching Academy. In addition, she has also undertaken executive development programmes with the CMPS Cabinet Office and INSEAD University in France.


Angela Lockett FITOL MCIPD

Angela is an extremely experienced training designer, deliverer and consultant, with a career in learning and development spanning 20 years, on both a national and international basis. 

Her career started in training delivery, design, then internal consultancy, followed by training management roles.  After 10 years experience in such roles for companies including Wimpey Homes, Legal & General Assurance Society and Abbey National plc, Angela set up her own learning and development company in 1997.

Since then, Angela has developed an impressive range of experience and clients.  Whilst she is recognised as a specialist in the development of learning and development practitioners, her work includes management and leadership development, sales and customer service and team development.  Her clients include financial services organisations, banks, retail, pharmaceutical, the travel industry, the voluntary and public services sectors.  She has also designed and delivered a number of development programmes within the airline industry (for British Airways, bmi and Gulf Air).

Angela is familiar with the challenges that international design, delivery and consultancy can bring, having worked in many European countries, Asia, the Gulf States and the United States.  

Angela is a Fellow of the Institute of Training and Occupational Learning, a Chartered Member of the Institute of Personnel and Development, qualified and registered by the British Psychological Society in Psychometric testing, and a Master Practitioner in Neuro-Linguistic Programming.   She is also the author of ‘Trainer Routes’, a CPD package for learning and development practitioners.


John Wilson FITOL
Programme Director - Certificate in Training and Occupational Learning

John has had extensive career in the police force. He was Head of the Training Design & Research Unit at the Metropolitan Police Training Establishment, Hendon, having responsibility for designing and producing computer-based training, self instructional text, course design, examinations and training delivery.

He later became Intake Manager at the Recruit School, Hendon with responsibility for training 120 recruits over 18 weeks with a team of twelve police trainers. He also reviewed all student and trainer course material for the Recruit Foundation Course.

He was a British Sign Language communicator and in that capacity, acted on behalf of the prosecution at Magistrates and Crown Courts around London.

John is now an independent Learning & Development consultant. He recently designed and delivered a national Police Community Support Officer learning course and designed a complete learning programme for INTERPOL intelligence officers.

He is a visiting lecturer at local colleges and has designed and delivered a Specialist Investigative Interviewers Programme for the Ministry of Defence. He also teaches conflict management and self defence to the NHS.

He has also delivered a number of experiential learning events for clients who include; BP, O2, Glaxo Smith Cline, Royal Bank of Scotland, Kellogg and OAMI (European Office for Harmony in Internal Markets).


Eric Linin MBA FCIPD FITOL

Eric is a highly experienced learning professional with particular expertise in learning strategy, career management and learning development.

His background is in the Financial Services Industry where as a Senior Member of the Learning Team at Lloyds TSB he was responsible for a number of innovative learning related developments. Amongst Eric’s key achievements with Lloyds TSB were:

  • The design of the operating model for the University for Lloyds TSB
  • The development of Group-wide and business level learning strategies
  • The design and implementation of a comprehensive learning curriculum.
  • The conception and creation of a career management strategy.

Additionally, Eric’s involvement with external organisations has given him a broad appreciation of the lifelong learning agenda and an impressive network of thought leaders and opinion formers in the skills development field.

Since leaving Lloyds TSB, Eric has designed and delivered programmes in a wide range of areas including supporting the introduction of an HR Shared Services model in both a major financial services organisation and a large public sector organisation. He has also acted as a coach and mentor to senior figures in major organisations.

Eric holds an MBA from the Open University, is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (FCIPD) and of the Institute of Training and Occupational Learning. He is currently undertaking a Diploma in French.


Neville Pritchard BEd CFCIPD FITOL

Neville is a leading learning and performance strategist, practitioner and thought leader with over 25 years experience in learning and development at senior and executive level. This has included holding the posts of Learning Director at Barclays Bank and Head of Group Training and Management Development at Abbey National.

He has led award winning programmes in organisational learning and is a frequent speaker at global conferences on learning and leadership development strategy, building a coaching culture, and measuring the effectiveness of learning. Neville is a Past President and Global Network development advisor of ASTD-UK and until the end of 2005 served as Chair of the Financial Services Skills Council Major Employer Advisory Forum. He is a review panel member for the ASTD BEST awards.
